Had a similar experience my first night in Hong Kong years ago.

Do you believe that Psychobilin has the potential to change the way someones mind works on a permanent basis?

I ask this because i had an (intentionally) very, very intense trip years ago, and it literally taught me empathy, among other things. The effects of that particular trip are still with me now (10+ years later), and for the better.

That is literally how they taught me Empathy. I was shown everything i had done previous to that moment that had had a negative effect on another person, and i felt the experience from their end. Their emotions as a result of my actions, instead of from my own perspective. Scene by scene, one by one. It was utterly incredible.

Empathy and being a much more open, positive person has never left me, and i can pin point it to that exact trip.

Keep studying these things, i truly believe you are doing something very valuable to humanity. We need more knowledge on these matters. It has the potential to positively impact millions of people around the globe.
