I'm curious about this as well. By refresher, do you mean completely readjusting to the "shock of reality," or just flipping through the notebook quickly? If you were to sleep for four hours, would you remember things "pre-nap"? Since you only have an 8 hour window and you probably sleep 8 hours a night, obviously your mind is completely wiped when you wake up. It makes sense that you lose memories of the morning as the day progresses, but you still have a better understanding/don't have to deal with the "oh shit" moment of realization, right? So what would happen if you slept in shorter, more frequent intervals (not suggesting, just curious)?
