Did you have a bad childhood?

I don't blame deities for anything. It just seems that deities are at best ineffective and at worst cruel, megalomaniacs that torture those because of their own ego. A god should by description have within their power the abilities to save so many but decidedly do nothing unless you worship them. That just seems sick to me.

I don't need someone to sing my praise to help them.

Just to be clear you worship a God that is okay with people being tortured, raped, murdered and worse atrocities as the status quo?

I'm genuinely curious why you would worship a god that is seemingly so ineffective and cruel.
