Interesting read. I suffered several years from gut inflammatories with a lot blood in my bowel movement. After a very strong diet (vegan, no fruits, no sugar) plus limited calorie intake it was found out that I do not suffer from ulcerative colitis but from fructose malabsorption. I now have medium sized red spots on both legs.
