In 2008, I donated Stem Cells - the "blood donation" of Bone Marrow donation. They simply put in a central line and hook you up to a machine that separates your cells to get the ones they need. I had to take injections daily for a week prior to increase my cell count.

I also had the option of doing that, regular marrow donation, or a blind draw for study purposes. I chose the last, and was drawn for the stem cells.

Unfortunately, my recipient passed away about 2 years after donation. :(

What types of policies will we see with the new budget, and will it include any military cuts and tax increases? Do you believe it has any chance of passing?
