Can you go more details about the ice festival? Worth it? Too cold?

Read beyond what the charts and test results are telling you. As in, put in more weight on what the patient is telling you. I still think about all the NPs I had. I had a favorite and would insist on her. She would advocate for me when her colleagues were saying otherwise. She made exceptions where her experience and intuition said it was okay to bend the rules. She would deliver my routine blood tests results over the phone versus me waiting there for hours. And I promised her I would come back if any treatment was needed. She understood that TIME is so important. And a few extra hours at home versus at the hospital was priceless.

It's easy to get jaded seeing so many patients. I felt her caring for me as a person. I heard through the grapevine that her colleagues weren't happy with her cause she had me "spoiled". Maybe I was? I don't think so though, I felt like I was an easy patient.

I know you didn't ask me but you're question made me think of my NP.
