How can we get higher youth participation in future elections?

Here’s the reason for my question. I’ve been doing work for the last year and a half with Sister District Project. With other organizations, we have worked as a coalition to motivate new folks to volunteer for grassroots electoral organizations. We’ve had success with parties which have direct calls to action.

I’m curious about other methods.

Thank you for doing this AMA. I have heard from friends living in Broward County, there are 30,000 undervotes which means there were 30,000 ballots in Broward (a left leaning county) where the voter voted, but did not vote for anyone in the Senate race. The Senate race was buried in the ballot design. This is either voter suppression or incompetence.

Can you provide verification of this and help us understand why these undervotes occurred. Oh, and is it voter suppression or incompetence?
