The obvious reason is not that you might pick a lock...there's nothing illegal about teaching or learning to pick locks. The obvious reason is that its not something you can just describe in a reddit post (also ignoring the fact that there is to just one universal lock type)

Well, not massively....it doesn't actually address why quantum computers means the time it takes for a "bad guy" is equal to that of a "good guy"...

I don't think he's just referring to the "opening the doors" side of an emergency. He's alluding to the fact the entire tube system is setup for a human to "guide" people out in an emergency. Its not just the trains that would require more automation but further systems for getting people out when things go wrong....as opposed to just opening the doors and leaving hundreds of people in the middle of a tube on their own....
