The cop isn't going to shoot at you, so why shoot at the cop?

I'm not even a criminal but I want to move to the UK so bad after reading this. The difference in mindset is amazing to me.

That annoying as shit character already haunts my dreams. Don't make it worse.

I understand that and I'm under no illusions that the UK is crime-free. I've been to London, for example, and it seems like many other big cities to me, some not so nice parts, and some nice parts.

In addition, I've actually done a fair bit of personal research into crime and murder rates recently (due to gun control debates I've found myself a part of).

That being said, it's easier to kill someone with a gun, even easier to do it from afar and get away. Knife crime, while still lethal, requires a fair amount of skill, strength, and luck to lethally wound someone. Knives aren't equalizers like guns are. You've got to get in someone's face with a knife. I think my comment is still relevant in its context.
