I saw a documentary on solitary confinement from National Geographic. In it they talked about how prisoners would "fish" for notes by hooking a piece of cardboard attached to a string around another string that had a note on it. It also said that some cells have vents that inmates use to talk through, and lastly sending notes through books. I guess my question is weather or not this is true, if you partook in these communication methods, what would happen if you got caught, and what you would generally say or talk about when you would communicate?
