The purpose of the "Drop-D tuning" (DADGBE) is to get that low growly type sounds that you usually hear in metal bands. Also in Drop-D it is easier to play power chords because all you have to do is put your finger across the low D and E strings. (PLEASE correct me if i am wrong)!!

I imagine your foot hygiene is incredible.... do you wash your feet before you eat much like how people with hands wsh their hands?
