I can't remember the details but you once mentioned in an interview that you had difficulties getting the movie rights of The Last Unicorn back?

Is there any advise you can give to aspiring writers regarding contract clauses?

hi Peter. I am living in Europe and I have to say that you are my favorite author. I follow with envy all the tour updates and would love to meet you at a convention. Since I have a family it would be unreasonable to make such a big trip and I wonder if you have any plans to visit Europe?

I would also like to know what books shaped and inspired you?

thank you for your response. I only discovered you as a writer when I hit my 30s and wanted to get back into Fantasy novels. I thought "why not try The Last Unicorn, the book behind my favorite childhood movie". I was blown away by your writing style and bought all your other books in second hand stores since most are out of print. I find the German translations of the books excellent by the way which is also something I don't take for granted.

Do you own the rights of the German translations? If you do, then you could consider the Print on Demand route for your older novels. It wont bring you much money but it makes the books available to those who want to read them.

Do you have any interest in making a children book out of The Last Unicorn? Since I had a daughter I found out that there is a severe lack of quality children books out there. Books which tell beautiful stories and at the same time provide pictures to help them understand. I also remember the Unicorn Sonata story to be quite appropriate for kids.
