Degrees are valuable because they assign some thresholds on a continuum of skills/knowledge. They also justify more salary the higher your degree is (valued by society).

But what you learn from the degree programs themselves and what you utilize in your job can be quite different, which is why many programs are connected to external companies and organizations that make the use of their graduates (as well as give them new skills for their particular industry).

So is it really possible to be a physician and have a creative life? As in, do you really have enough time between both lives as they're both rather demanding?
