I generally think the danger of AI is it's lack of consciousness. Seeing what kind of damage I and co-workers have done through tiny errors, it gives me faith that AI will simply be a bigger conduit for human error. I'm not afraid of the AI itself, but the fact it was created by, operated by, and overseen by humans who are prone to error, like a fucking lot of errors.

Controlling the sled while being crushed by 4Gs+ at 75 mph in turn requires lots of athleticism. It doesn't have a steering wheel, you have to use your whole body to control the sled. The mental focus required to stay in control is also extremely demanding.
