You should feel guilty for making me roll my eyes so hard I've a headache.

How much time, if any, does your centre spend synthesising and testing novel compounds? Do the treatments you assay come from both outside and within your facilities?

As a fellow scientist, I spend an awful lot of time in the lab surrounded by solvent vapours. Are there any deciem products you recommend for people like me exposed to harsh chemicals (such as people in nail salons) to give my skin an extra bit of protection? I find after a busy day in the lab my face can become quite red and clearly irritated!

Awesome! I've been interested in moving to Nottingham after my PhD (partially on the synthesis of novel anti-cancer agents), one of my favourite lecturers moved there a couple years ago and always has good things to say whenever we are in touch! Exciting to hear there's a such a strong presence of synthesis in the drug discovery research in Nottingham!
