Unions... when used right they're so fucking awesome. And when used wrong they're so fucked up and evil. It sucks that today they're often used to simply justify old and outdated jobs and methodology. Imagine if those same unions that refused to allow the automation instead just negotiated some awesome severence+re-training in another field bonuses for anyone who might lose their job over it? But no, fear change! Fear it!
