Except any moral obligation to better the education of the students you promised to teach. But who needs morals or any sense of responsibility? Thats for 9 to 5 plebs like us.

That's what the legalization movement is all about. But of course they're going against special interest groups like big pharma, big tobacco, alcohol, and other groups that would not like to see another competitor in their midst. It unfortunately isn't as easy as it sounds, hence the states taking their own action (and affirmatively raising a big middle finger to the feds) a la Colorado and Washington.

If you want to learn more, I suggest looking into NORML or other pro-marijuana interest groups. You can also invest in marijuana related companies if you want to talk with your money.

If you weren't legal, would you consider applying under President Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program? Why or why not?

Is it really a "solution?" DACA only provides work authorization and a promise by the government that they won't deport you. You still have to turn over a lot of your information when the government could renege on that promise at any time. Do the benefits outweigh the risks to you?
