Yes I have! I really wondered (even with the centures time difference) if it was similar. I'm glad to know that the Afghanistan people are kind, but it bothers me to know of the cruelness that the Taliban has brought to the country is actually real. Do you know what I mean? Like to me I just can't understand how a group of people can be so merciless. Did you enjoy the book more or less with your knowledge of Afghanistan? Well if you read the book that is! :D
