I didn't have much opportunity to watch the livestreams, and I assume everything is at ridiculously early stages, so I'm curious how you feel about combat length.
One of the annoying things about UO (and many MMOs) after a while was how "spiky" the damage had to be. So you start out and it takes you ~30 seconds to kill a skeleton, and you may end at half health, but it feels good. Later on, one or two hits from a dragon will drop you to half health.
Also, bards? Provocation was one of my favorite abilities, although I think it created huge balance issues with the game.

Do you feel that it is "ok" to have unbalanced skills? For instance, in UO we all know Animal Taming was ridiculously strong compared to Forensic Evaluation.
I guess what I'm trying to get at is do you plan to try to make skill sets that are all equal, or are you ok with "Animal tamers are the best farmers, Stun Mages are the best PvP'ers"

Is there any chance you carry US domestic beers? One of the largest issues my wife and I have when we go to all-inclusive is that they only carry Mexican beers.

Do you feel the Kickstarter was too ambitious? I enjoy the concept of your game, but "retro" MMOs have fared pretty poorly (look at Pantheon) in the KS realm. You garnered a lot of attention at the game expos, but I'm concerned the KS crowd is kind of jaded on "throwback" games right now.
RESPONSE
Derek: We felt like our goal was very achievable when we launched our campaign. We did a small PR campaign leading up to the actual Kickstarter campaign which was very successful. We were getting so much support from media outlets like MMORPG.com and Massively.com. You mention that KS is jaded on "throwback" games. What we have learned is that KS is a difficult place for subscription games in general. Even though our game doesn't require a subscription, even the mere mention of it scares away many potential backers.
