And ESPECIALLY not any non-round circular holes.

Since Marx dies in 1883, his thoughts have spread to every corner of the globe, inspiring people in vastly different cultures, etc. Of course, they interpreted the ideas differently over the last 150 years.

As a Christian socialist, I'd point to liberation theology, which came out of Latin America in the 1960s and uses Marxist theory to interpret the poverty and exploitation of the region's underclass, and then seeks to explore how Christians might respond. Gustavo GutiƩrrez is the real intellectual father of this movement if anyone's interested in reading up on it.

I love your work, Dr. Wolff. Thanks for doing this.

no minimum wage

De facto it does have a minimum wage, and a very high one, due to the significant union strength there. This is true across the Nordic countries I believe. They felt with their clout they'd keep a higher wage by setting it themselves.

If the US ever got the union density of the Nordic countries, that might be okay here too. But not when union power is so heavily restricted.

Nauseating when you get on the plane home and see a $2000 robotic litter box in the Skymall, huh?

That was my first shock upon leaving.

Right. But if the implication was Danes do well economically because it's such a libertarian place, that's not how it works there--at least in terms of labor regulation.

Much of their economic regulation simply occurs through the power of organized labor rather than governmental enforcement.
