My mother has short term memory loss and says things like this is one of the best things about it. She can watch movies she likes and they're still new, and we can tell her she didn't like a movie and then it doesn't exist to her.

She also LOVES 50 first dates. Possibly because she's of the belief that Adam Sandler is like 1000x times better when he's next to a pretty girl. But she cries every time.

Edit: It's actually really hard, and there are plenty of really terrible things about her head injury. So for everyone thinking this is a fun little tidbit, it's totally not worth it. Still, my mom is super cool and manages to joke about the little stuff like this.

My mom and I foster together and she's disabled! It wasn't a big deal at all. She just had a doctor sign off on her being healthy enough to take care of kids.
