Most cml occur through gene translocation Between 9:22 chromosome also known as philadelphia chromosome ,this translocation leads to formation of bcr - abl complex which produces a Protein called tyrosine kinase and it upregulates the division of cells that leads to increase number of white blood cells along with basophilia ,in short its all mutation .
