No one in history has ever visited every country in the world without flying.

Didn't someone already do this? He did some AMA's. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham_Hughes

Would you hyphenate it as Bee-stro, or just Beestro?

No one in history has ever gone to every country in the world without setting foot in an airplane.

Ok yes, but you must agree that this sentence, and the one you previously wrote, is very ambiguous. Maybe some people understood it to mean a single unbroken trip, but many people like myself understood it to allow for a discontinuous trip. I personally saw no reason to exclude it.

Of course it's just a language thing. I think it would help if you made sure to emphasise the word 'unbroken' next time you make that claim. Because when Graham describes his achievement he uses the same worded sentence.

I realise that, however still the sentence I quoted did not say 'unbroken journey' it simply said 'visited every country'.

Even though Graham didn't quite achieve what Torbjørn is planning to do, it seems a bit odd to say 'no one in history' and not give any credit to Graham.

Can you do a trick right here in this thread?
