Russel's Reserve Single Barrel (particularly private selections) are the absolute best value in bourbon today. The price to quality ratio is perfect and it's the first thing I recommend when people are looking to buy a nicer bottle. What's the easiest way to go about doing a private barrel pick for an enthusiast group?

You can like it, but it's a bad answer to this specific question.

Pretty much nothing, they're just still recovering from having to wear a mask.

Medication is the killer. I was diagnosed with ADHD and quit taking meds when I learned I couldn't fly for the air force with them. If you can learn to manage without meds, you're fine.

Evan Williams is a value whiskey. That doesn't scream snobbery to me. Maybe not the best example... I don't think we've been talking about whiskey in the same places if that's the kind of discussion you've been having.

This discussion was about marketing and methodology, not the drink itself. You're getting downvotes because you're making it out to be an attack on your opinions instead of the fact that tincup is a really bad example of a young distiller operating with transparency and honesty.
