Convince Mozilla to re-open the Firefox OS project

Mozilla achieves a similar result via a slightly different means (i.e. having no financial incentives at all), but they cancelled their OS and don't have an email service. Firefox is great though!

I think a big part of it is simply that 95% of the time or higher in the UK, it is safe to assume that people don't have guns, including criminals. That alone causes a huge difference in the nature of anti-crime efforts, pursuits, arrests, etc... So, I think the main lesson might be something like "if almost nobody has a gun, then you can usually assume you're not in danger of being shot when you're arresting someone". That fact alone dramatically "de-escalates" situations when compared with somewhere like the USA where police officers have to assume anyone they pursue is armed.

I'm a software developer who has toyed with Unity and other game development tools at a surface level, but always lose motivation to complete anything.

How did you get through the very beginning stages of development? Basically, how did you get things started to a point where you could iterate/improve? When I've tried to begin a project in a game engine, I always feel like it's a multi-dimensional chicken and egg problem between graphics, game mechanics, and level design.

The amount billed by hospitals for stuff (as in, the amount before any negotiated discounts) is almost universally laughably high. Those amounts are absolutely ridiculous and have no basis in the realistic cost of providing those services, even when subsidizing unpaid care is taken into account.

So...I don't really care if they only get 20% of billed charges for a lot of stuff. I have seen outpatient ER bills totaling like $15,000 or more for services that should only cost like $1k-$2k in an ER setting. I have absolutely zero faith in the pricing on hospital bills. As far as I'm concerned, it's monopoly money until it goes through insurance.
