How hard will it be for me to join? I am seriously considering making the journey. I am an American with Army training and no serious criminal history.

Aren't those stories biased by default, since they come from defectors? You are only looking at one side of the issue if you base everything off of defector stories.

I listen to them, but I also listen to other sides, like the AMA right here.

My guess? Everything isn't all black and white. There are good things and bad things in just about everything.

I mean, if I only listened to Russian news about what goes on in my country, would I have a clear view of what it is really like living here? Probably not.

How do you know anything, since you have zero first hand experience? Also, since we are at war with NK, why would you think you could base opinions off of information provided by American sources, either way? Or do we not participate in propaganda? Also, VICE should not be your main educator.
