In case anybody is still unsure about what this is about: Crosswinds is the reincarnation of a brutal "reformation" school known for physically and psychologically tormenting students into submission. The exact structure of the corporation behind this is unclear and they've taken great lengths to conceal their connection to the New Horizons Youth Ministries, the umbrella group for these "abuse schools". Lifeline acquired this company during the shutdown of the Escuela Caribe and did its best to hide behind a new name, slowly phasing out the NHYM group and letting Lifeline take control over their projects.

Mark Terrell, CEO of Lifeline, has been working on the merger from 2008. It's safe to assume he knew and supported the abusive behaviour occurring in these schools. His efforts to conceal the

If you read the response to media criticism that he linked to (http://crosswindsyouth.org/crosswinds-response/), you'll notice that Lifeline never states that these practices have ended or don't occur. Instead, he insinuates that there is no connection to NHYM:

Dear Mr. Terrell, you are a horrible excuse for a human being for your complacency in these events. The right thing to do would have been to let the organisation die and let its legacy go down as a mistake. Instead, you seek to continue the program and even go so far as to lie about Lifeline's connection to NHYM. Fuck you.
