I've been thinking a lot recently about the more violent side of porn and I feel like I need help from someone who understands. I'm actually into BDSM myself, but when I (accidentally) end up clicking on a video where the girl doesn't look like she is enjoying herself or something like throat fucking/"facial abuse"...I just feel like even if they're technically consenting to that, it's still awful. It is still literal sexual violence, and its disturbing.

Many female journalists and those in the industry seem to be really keen to defend anything as long as it's consensual though. For example, sex positive writers criticising the film Hot Girls Wanted. What's your thoughts on where the line is, with sexual violence in porn? Why would anyone defend a video that literally has the word 'abuse' in the description?
