What's wrong with cbus? I've lived on campus, near campus, ghetto-y, and putter Columbus. Been out and around at all hours of the night with little trouble.

Note I'm a 5'10" scrawny white guy.

While I've encountered quite a few "issues" like druggie prostitution advances, in my face hyper midget, yells like "yo, what those shoes worth? (Responded truthfully with $5 from Goodwill), chasing a dude who mugged someone else until police came, drunk muscular gay dudes sexual advances calling me prude.

... I honestly was disagreeing, but in reflection, maybe it wasn't a nice area...

I've been there/am there. Being part of a (irl) community is a huge help. Not specifically for your issues, thats not great imp, but just being a part of something is a huge help.
