Friend of mine was cop in a small town, they have to go and sit on the school zone when the kids are getting out. Clocks a car doing 30 over in the school zone (with kids around) and stops him. Walks up to the car and the guy pulls a badge and says "I'm on the job". My friend writes him anyway, but only for 10 over. The guy is furious he got a ticket. In your humble opinion, who is the bigger asshole, my friend for writing another cop a ticket or the other cop?

A picture of your barn yard or farming equipment with a hand written note with today's date and the name of your ama listed would be pretty rock solid IMHO.

I'm interested to hear your opinions on the recently reported NYPD quota scandal. Specifically, I'd like to know without using quotas how can supervisors make sure the patrol officers are out there doing their jobs and not just driving around for 8 hours screwing off? Is that even an issue for the NYPD or are you guys so busy going from job to job that there would be no way that could ever be a concern?
