Posted this before over in /r/parenting but this seems like a good place to retell the story.

I'm a work-from home software guy, and during the weather mess this year my six-year old wasn't able to go to school. On the second day, about halfway through the morning, I heard the clomp-clomp of little feet coming down the stairs and knew an interruption was coming.

There was a pause outside my office, then:

"Daddy, are you working?"

"Yes, little dude."

There was a sigh, then the sound of a small person sliding down the door to sit on the floor.

"Do you wanna build a snowman?" he sang. I just about died.

EDIT: Of COURSE I went outside with him.

I was thinking exactly this - my 6-year-old went to Ottawa Comic-Con last year for the express purpose of meeting "LeVar from Reading Rainbow". While I'm certain that he was one face among many, you were gracious and kind to my little twerp; thank you for that.

I was hoping you'd say Myst. The games (and the mythology behind them) are tied to some fond family memories, with both my parents and my children.

I used to find puzzles scribbled in crayon taped to the insides of cupboard doors, and felt-marker Ages bound with staples left on my office chair by my son.

Thanks for all your work throughout the years!

Of all the projects you've worked on, which do you think left the largest impression on gaming as a whole?
