This one probably answers itself, are the "hits" we hear over and over actually popular because people like them or they "hits" because record companies decide what songs will become top 40 and force radio to play them?

The argument I heard for why they're so quiet is because, even though he was a legal gun owner/concealed carrier, he was allegedly "high" at the time of the incident which means he was unlawfully carrying his weapon. The NRA only voices support for "lawful" gun stuff.

Just to be clear, that was the argument I heard and is not me supporting this argument or trying to give justification for what happened. There is no doubt that this was an unnecessary tragedy and that there was definitely some hardcore fuckery going on with the whole process.
