Seems like a lot of competitors on the show are doing ninja warrior fulltime and have quit their jobs or working minimally...How does ninja warrior compensate competitors, winners/losers?

I've been doing music production as a hobby for just about half a year now....and i really struggle at this point to make new things and stepping out of my comfort zone. I tend to just rely on techniques that I am familiar with and using the same samples/VSTs/drumloops/ect.

As a producer how do you fight comfort and at the same time keep producing banging stuff that is relevant?
