Actually it was more along the lines of "men's rights groups are a bunch of whiners" then both men's rights activist and feminists started lambasting him for it both calling the article, which was dripping with satire, sexist. Adams then created a sock puppet account to explain his viewpoint without people shouting him down just for being him, with granted a little, I believe satirical, self aggrandizing to bait the other side. Which made the other side rage uncontrollably for a few days and he lost fans he didn't give a shit about in the first place.

At heart Scott's a troll, a really really funny troll.

Edit: I gotta say as scott Adams is one of my personal heroes I just want to say thanks to everyone who thinks I am him! Those were very nice compliments! You should all tell me on my other account to contact me on this account so I can meet myself.

That being said, I have heard of people playing multiple accounts in the same room, so they have more knowledge then they should

This is incredibly common among online gambling sites and is the #1 reason not to play online poker. If you do it for real money, no matter how good you are at poker, some if not all the other people are cheating.

Well actually even that wouldn't be that helpful of a statistic because the vast majority of crime goes unreported all together. White collar crime makes up a massive amount of the crime in this country but is also the least likely to be prosecuted. It may in fact be the most common type of crime as, aside from drug possession/selling, and it usually occurs in suburbia.

White collar crimes are ones of both affluence and opportunity that can often be passed off as legitimate and, barring whistleblowers, have almost no chance of being discovered. The victims of these crimes often don't even realize they are being victimized because they are crimes like embezzlement, insider trading, fraud, pyramid schemes etc...

So all of that is to say arrest records and reported victimization rates actually paint very unrealistic pictures of what the true scope of crime in the USA is.
