What has been your favorite forest-type area you've seen from your travels? And for the people who lived there, what were some ways they'd economize/work in a routine that you weren't expecting?

If you could go anywhere in the world and live there for a time, what would be your top picks based on the resident music scene?

I just graduated college and already miss having musician friends around who I could sit next to / listen to them experiment. My home town is pretty isolated, so I could really go anywhere and do almost anything from here. Aside from industry location, I've been asking is there any swing dancing nearby and what does YouTube think of this place when I research a company.
