What was the most unexpected thing a playtester did during development, and/or the funniest bug encountered?

Another important part of this discussion that you don't hear about much is that a prosthesis doesn't have to surpass the natural limb in all areas, especially not in general functionality. If that's your goal then yes, it might take forever or be impossible. But a prosthetic gives you what's called morphological freedom - the ability to change your body into anything you desire. A natural arm doesn't come with a built in compass, data storage, or the ability to be taken off when inconvenient. It will never have anything other than 5 digits, its length cannot be adjusted, and it will hurt considerably as it ages. Any of those can make a prosthesis more valuable to a particular individual than a normal limb.

The real promise of prosthetics in terms of human augmentation is in specialization and customization, not just being 'better' in the vague or general sense.
