There is a legendary poster on the /r/mattress sub who was in the industry and would help almost every poster. I'd look for his posts they are all very informative. He stopped posting and giving advice because he was getting overwhelmed and it was taking over his life. I'm too lazy to research his name but his post led me to the mattress I have and I am customer for life with this company.

Felxus Qudra Flex. Best mattress I've slept on. I did so much research in the months leading up to the purple and the months returning the purple. I understand the headache. The best material universilly is latex. The best support is either foam or spring and the flexus combines foam and spring. Stay away from foam only mattresses around the $1000-2000 range. They are using low quality foam.
Flexus does not outsource their stuff. Their website isn't pretty and their process is a little old school but it works. They used to manufacture the foam for casper mattress (I think casper(?)) until casper moved to chinese suppliers.

Chesse: Provolone- We don't serve provolone. Read the cheese sign. SIGH.
What? I have gotten Provolone on my Subs at Subway since my dad bought/sold part of a franchised store before Subway was a huge deal. This was before Jared and when the stores wallpaper was printed with old drawings from around the time the NYC subway was built. Here is a decent pic of the wallpaper. Anyways, I still go to either the subway at Wal-Mart or the subway at the Exxon station daily and get provolone. I even read the signs everyday and debate if I want to go with Pepper Jack today but I never do. I GO PROVOLONE. Do you really work at Subway without provolone or am I just not getting a joke?

EDIT: I get it guys, TIL some stores don't carry provolone, just upvote the first guy that said it and move on. No need to repeat it over and over.

I bought a purple last year and HATED it. Also their return process was horribly complicated. We got a new mattress (not a box mattress) and love it 1000x more.
EDIT: You can find some of my story here
