Thats bullshit-talk for "who has the most money". Who has the most money? Corporations. My money is on vid.me. At least they dont have any bullshit "This is for the community...."-hot air blowing.

Im very much interested in anything astro- (apart from astrology), and I always thought there is a bit of sadness behind studies in that department. We are advanced enough to assume that someday we will be able to actual visit other planets, other starts, but it wont be us

One thing that helped me a bit: 200 or so years ago other continents propably held the same fascination as other planets today. People longed to visit them simply because they were so hard to reach.

Lets say in 200 years we can visit Mars as easily as we can visit today Australia - There is a high chance even people like you and I would be like "Yeah visting Mars would be kinda neat....But if it doesnt happen eh whatever".

So the reason for all that wonderment is inseparable connected with the sheer impossibility of actually being able to do it.
