I'm so glad I got out before the new tattoo regulations started being implemented. I've served with guys with neck and hand tattoos. I have my forearm and biceps done. I don't think tattoos should have anything to do with how a soldier's career goes.

I got out in January of this year and they started implementing the new regulations shortly after. Everyone's tattoos were documented. If you get a new one, you have to get it approved and it has to be a certain size (I don't know about the former, pretty sure about the latter). And if you have sleeves, you can't be an officer. Ridiculous, but they are downsizing.
