Journalist here. If you're eighteen, you're both a man, and a teenager. The rule of thumb for teenager is if your age has the word 'teen' in it, you're a teenager. That doesn't mean he's not an adult as well. And since when is describing a teenager as a teenager sensationalising? Does being eighteen as opposed to seventeen lessen his parents' grief? Does it justify the officer's actions? Is the death of an eighteen-year-old less worthy than the death of a seventeen-year-old in your mind?

Why would you run if you don't expect to win, especially against other candidates who also want to reform campaign finance?

Selective examples don't convince me of your argument. Trump and Obama have both been on the cover dozens of times. Besides, can you think of an example of Obama being publicly angry about something which would necessitate an angry Obama cover?
