What technology are you using to provide service?

Who are you using as your backbone provider?

How many households will you be able to service with your initial setup?

Thanks! This is really fascinating. I've been a proponent of local WISPs for a long time, but this is the first time I've gotten to pick someone's brain about it.

How long did it take you to organize all this?

Where did you get help to do this?

If you are willing to answer, how much did it cost to set everything up?

How much maintenance do you anticipate on various parts of your infrastructure?

Were there any laws that you had to be particularly aware of or was it pretty straigh forward?

I believe he addressed that in this comment

When we were reporting our story on YouTube's algorithm building an enormous audience for videos of semi-nude children, the company at one point said it was so horrified by the problem — it'd happened before — that they would turn off the recommendation algorithm for videos of little kids. Great news, right? One flip of the switch and the problem is solved, the kids are safe! But YouTube went back on this right before we published. Creators rely on recommendations to drive traffic, they said, so would stay on. In response to our story, a Senator Hawley submitted a bill that would force YouTube to turn off recommendations for videos of kids, but I don't think it's gone anywhere.

That reminds me of Charlaine Harris' (author of the True Blood books) experiences. The main character (Lily Bard) of her Shakespeare series was putting her life back together after a similar rape. Lily's actions were completely unlike any other rape victim I had read. Enough so that I had to look up Harris' personal history. Sure enough Lily's experiences were based on her own. It gave me a very different perspective of rape survival than other books I'd read.

Thanks for doing the AMA! I've been reading the comic for years and thoroughly enjoy it. It's my co-favorite comic along with Something Positive.

Are you ever going to give an update on Pan and Yala? I have never been as touched by a comic as I was by when Spoiler It legitimately brought tears to my eyes. I would love to see a picture of them living happily in a forest on the edge of a meadow somewhere. That picture alone would be a fantastic update.
