I think the reason you're getting downvoted is because the way you phrased your comment makes it sound like you think you are talking to someone who disagrees with you.

A better way to phrase it would be:

"Wow, that's interesting that you thought that. I guess they don't have to brainwash you into believing that mass extermination is justified, only that forced labor is justified. Although I would like to point out that they are both very dehumanizing and evil."
