Tl:Dr my uncle did this to my aunt, they preemptively arrested him for her safety and he beat the charges... Story below.

My aunt had the same thing happen to her, very sad she is chronically ill and her husband at the time (uncle by marriage) went outside of marriage and was pretty much openly cheating on her. Also he despised his gay son and hated my grandma who was such a sweetheart. I was younger at the time 14ish so I had no clue, long story short. He was a very smart guy, well read and employed as an air traffic controller, for some reason he left a note on the front door of their neighbors asking for help, no clue how he thought this would work.

Neighbor went to the cops and they were setting him up, the day he was suppose to buy the pills to mix in with my aunts regular meds he didn't show and they got worried. They preemptively arrested him on conspiracy to commit murder, it was surreal and I'm happy I was younger so I couldn't grasp what was happening because if I was older the idea of revenge would be tempting. Anyways the psycho gets out of it bc he never gave money or some technicality, however financially he is ruined and most of his pension went to my aunt. No clue where he is now since he wasn't blood it was easy to cut him out after he moved. Positive ending since my aunt is safe, but impossible to have a happy ending he tore apart his immediate family and no justice was given.

Edit: really hate edit circlejerks... But few DM's so I should clarify I mean I wasn't really capable of exacting revenge at the age of 14 or 15... Definitely knew what happened I had watched enough MSNBC programming on Sundays prior.

Edit 2: I really do hate announced edits, I'll downvote myself, can't take screenshot bc that would require a 3rd edit on my phone... But I just remembered why they arrested him early and didn't try to bait him allowing him to not be tried. They had the sting setup to catch him buying the pills and he didn't show at that point not even my aunt knew so they were afraid he may have gone somewhere else to buy them or do it himself. I'm sure they used the defense that he wasn't actually going to go through with it, I don't know those details.

He left the note on a drug dealers door, his neighbor was a cop that helped arrest him. I was 16 not 14...

The day of the arrest, he was calling his daughter that couldn't get ahold of my aunt and not to go home and he was going to check on her, then called my grandma and said the same... My grandma didn't listen (like most grandmas) and went to the house to find my aunt there and fine. As she was leaving he pulled up and cursed at my grandma for stopping by. Along with some other odd behavior, by this time the detectives were worried he found another source for the drugs they busted in the house arrested downstairs while my aunt was upstairs.

We tend to mock North Korea for putting out propaganda and their citizens believing it. Feels to weird that I'm on the other side of it, I wouldn't have known about this on my own. Also feels a bit embarrassing that they're looking at that brochure wondering how people could believe it's true.

Hey guys, I just want to say I'm a massive fan like a lot of people here. I really respect how much you try interact with your fans, but really I love your music so much because of the positivity and love in every song and that feels pretty rare especially in the alternative genre.

I'm actually on my way to pick up a ticket a for your Columbus show in a couple of hours. Lastly I had such I expectations for "Spreading Rumors" and you guys absolutely crushed it.

My only question. What is your favorite song to perform?
