I guess I meant contemporary bands, not classics. Bands who are still putting out their first couple records. Bands who started adter radio consolidation got so miserable.

Radio bands do suck, but who do you think is carrying the torch of real rock n roll right now?

Like bands currently grinding it out on tour, building a name. Maybe played on college radio or holdouts like WFMU. Like Screaming Females, or Pile, or Gorilla Toss.
