In this day in age you can order online and select exactly what you want on a pizza, personally I worked at McDonalds many years ago and from what I understand the systems have improved significantly for ringing up an order.

As for customization for customers ordering from the stations, Hardees has these in some locations and I believe I was able to customize it easily.
