In this case, ER+ and HER2+ means that those two genes are involved in the growth of a tumor, whereas ER- and HER2- means the genes aren't involved. HER2+ is typically considered to be a more aggressive form of breast cancer. Thankfully, OP is taking all the right meds for her disease including Herceptin.
