I actually love it simply because it gets me out of the office and away from the nonstop ringing of the phones. Also gives me the chance to hear someone's story on the ride back and make a new contact/acquaintance. I've actually been offered jobs by a couple of corporate customers I picked up.

Literally try to stand in front of it. Every time I circled around to try to see around them, they just shifted their position accordingly. I finally told them I had to run inside for something and quickly came back out when their guard was down and pointed out the softball sized dent they had been trying to hide.

That is not typical and should be brought to their attention immediately. We do make mistakes sometimes just like any other industry. But Enterprise is very solution and customer satisfaction oriented. So if that had occurred at my office, you would've immediately been refunded for those days and possibly even offered a discount on the days you did use to make up for the trouble.

That actually varies from branch to branch. At my particular branch, if you are a customer who is in the rental because your car was in an accident, we will let you leave the rental car at the body shop when you go to pick up your actual car.
