What level was your facility and were you given any notice of what was happening?

Yep, we only have two officers and a sheriff. But because we have that level five facility we have a designated transport officer. I hope your facility is able to reopen and that they offer you your job back! If you want it back, that is. Some of those kids really need those facilities. It’s a safe place that provides food and structure, which is what a lot of them lack in their lives.

We live in rural KY and his is a fairly large facility. Residents and detention kids, 8-10 units with 3-5 kids on a unit. I suppose I do feel a bit better knowing he’s at the only level 5 in the state but that’s still really shitty of them to do to you. Were you offered a position at another facility or anything at all?
