I used to work the Maryland festival. I used to say that "tights have a weight limit. If those things snap they could take someones eye out, costume responsibly".

Will the consistency of the plastic take a wash well? Looking at the difference between your prints and a hand painted, the gap looks like it will be massively bridged with just a wash. Slap some nuln oil on one of your color prints and call it a day! But, that only works if the wash takes without needing to spray primer on first.

I enjoyed watching your performance. Have you seen the show as it aired though? It seemed obvious (unless I'm fooling myself in what I saw) how the key bit was done from watching on TV.

The key looked like it comes down to a gimmicked first pencil, which was swapped for a regular one when you gave it back to write with the second time. If you watch where on the page approximately Jonathan circled, its a very different location than where you can see the circled word in the brief moment it was visible to the camera.

Again, I could be totally off, I'm not a magician, just a random appreciative audience member. My point is I'm surprised Penn and Teller were fooled when it seemed like there were glimpses of the gimmick as it was happening to me watching on tv.
