I think it's like East Germany. It wasn't terrible for most people, much of it was just silly, like having to stand in line for green bananas. But if you ran into problems with the system, it could be really, really bad for you.

There are lots of 'non-german' doctors in Germany, especially in Berlin. Both in clinics and with their own practices. Much of what you say is very uninformed.
